Terminus Through a Looking Glass
The Absorbing Tale Continues
This series began with a shipwreck and Tor, an unassuming miffit and the only survivor, being dragged from the sea by the dwarves, Oni and Oren. The Buso Bandar offer him the Chalice of Death, he fights a dragon with a wooden sword, and is tempted by the Yellow Woman in The Helot (Book 1).
In Dark Danger (Book 2) Tor, our accidental hero, travels to Nedra Deep where he and the wolfmen of the Aos battle hacklops and the Lord of Gloom to break a enchantment of bitterness he has cast upon the realm. But Darkness is not done with him. He and Delicia are drawn into Terromia Deep, the abode of the Lord of Darkness himself, where danger and death await them.
Following these harrowing adventures Tor and Delicia marry. In Terminus (Book 3), Delecia, heavy with child is swept away by a mythical birdworm, a helminth, never to be seen again. However, the fate of the realm rests with her child. Erebus, Lord of Demons, is determined that Tor’s insignificant offspring will not become the realm’s hero. He is determined to destroy the realm once and for all…and he succeeds.
The Accidental Heroes series, and Terminus in particular, is as much about the faithfulness of God and of Baruch, a metaphorical Christ figure, as about the unsophisticated heroes he uses to accomplish his purposes. He uses everyday people like you and like me to accomplish his ends great and small—if we let him.
I originally wrote these stories to instill important life principles in the lives of my kids.
Accidental Heroes is a powerful series that will suck you in and keep you reading. The books may even take you places you do not want to go! So purchase, read, enjoy, and do remember to write a review!
Watch for Book 4, Primal Blade, coming out later this year.
