Introducing the God Question
Proof for the Existence of God
My book, The God Question, has gotten rather scathing reviews from devotees of Richard Dawkins. However, reading their reviews it is obvious to me they never actually read my book, either that or they are guilty of misrepresenting my statements about him and its overall content.
I would note that The God Question is not a science book, it is a Christian apologetic written for everyday people, not the erudite. Does my book “prove” the existence of God? Not necessarily from the standpoint of scientific analysis, but it does from the standpoint of reason.
Understanding the meaning of “proof” is significant. The dictionary defines proof as “evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth.” The God Question gives numerous solid reasons for believing, as Francis Schaeffer puts it, in the fact that “God is there and He is not silent.”
God’s Call to Faith
Actually, everyday people seem to have a way of seeing through the machinations of the intellectually “enlightened” of our age. Ultimately, to know God through faith in Christ is indeed to knows that God exists. That is the final determiner. God calls. Will we answer? The God question points out numerous ways God speaks to head and heart, saying, “I Am.” And God’s call is a call to faith in Christ.
I encourage you to read The God Question, give it thought, and write a review, whether negative or positive.
The God Question and all my books are available at Amazon (including for Kindle) and Barnes & Noble.
