New Christian Fantasy Soon to Be Released
An Enchanting Fantasy Fiction Story
Primal Blade, will be available the end of end of January in paperback and as a Kindle e-book. It is the fourth book in author John Edgell’s exciting Accidental Heroes series. His proof reader, who has read it through several times, says it is the best book in the series. The author is confident you will find Primal Blade to be an “enchanting” read.

The miffit Ander’s friends, the Outrydrs Kandras and Kovan, set out to explore beyond the realm of Bethyia to the east. After a troubling dream, Ander sets out to find his friends. His quest takes him to a realm fraught with danger and intrigue, where a dying truthseer reveals that Ander is the long expected Slight One, the chosen monarch, who must retrieve the Primal Blade and save the realm of Eydoria from Axrath, an evil usurper and powerful demon lord.
The primal blade is protected by Alcazar, the God of Realms, in the Forbidden Tower of the long abandoned Ancient Imperial Palace. Ander’s trek to reach the isolated palace takes him through hostile lands, where he is pursued by durgons, beelzecats, axroids and viper dragons. His mission proves hopeless, and in a realm where women play prominent roles both for evil and for good, he finds unexpected help from newfound friends, as well as from an adversary, an ogre named Pyta.
That Ander will succeed in his quest remains in doubt, which in the end the story takes a stunning turn. As in life, Ander’s journey is fraught with trials and sorrow, but also with good and glimmers of joy. Primal Blade embraces the virtues of faithfulness and endurance in the face of unmitigated evil.
Author Note
I hope you will have as much fun reading Primal Blade as I did writing it. It truly is fantasy fiction at its best.
Since Primal Blade is the fourth book in my Accidental Heroes series, it is only fitting that I would encourage you to read the other three books: The Helot; Dark Danger; and Terminus.
I have tried to write this series so that each book has a natural and satisfying ending. I am personally not fond of series where each book leaves you hanging for a year before you can find out what happens next, only to be left hanging for another year. Accidental Heroes follows the lives and adventures of Tor and then his son, Ander, and yet each book is a separate, thoroughly enjoyable read.
When you read the book, if you have questions or observations please “comment” at this post or e-mail me at jaedgell.author@gmail.com .
