A Thankful Christian Fantasy Writer
Thankful to Whom?

Thanksgiving was interesting. Numerous people were expressing “thanks” for family, friends, health, and all the rest. “I give thanks for…” Well, it is good to give thanks “for,” but to whom are you giving thanks? Many seemed to be giving thanks to thin air—thankful with no one to thank. In cartoons, sport figure articles, general news articles and overheard conversations there were expressions of “thanks for” but no expressions of “thanks to.” God, who provides all things, even the breath we breathe, was never mentioned. Makes me wonder how thankful we really are.
